East 8 New York Fusion Tapas + Bar

The exterior layout of this place is enough to make you have a few more glance when you walk pass. Of course we did not just happen to walk pass. Reservation is strongly encourage if you do not want to miss out some good tapas!

I was blown away by the cover of the menu. Having a very eye catching and interesting food menu is definitely a plus point.

And here's another one.

Fresh Hamachi with Sesame, Soy Dressing and Black Caviar

I love this dish. The raw fish is so fresh and the soy dressing goes just right with it. And as you can see, they are very generous with the caviar too. And I thought that the price was really reasonable.

Price: $15

Buffalo Mozarella Cheese, Proscuitto Ham Topped with Truffle Mayo

The texture of the mozarella cheese is just right and it's of bite size chunks which makes it easier for consuming. The parma ham is thinly sliced but not too thin that you can't feel any thickness.

Price: $18

Poached Lobster Wrapped in Proscuitto Ham Doubled with Crispy Nori and Beancurd Skin

This dish is not in the main menu but in the menu of the shape of a vinyl record. Great combination of the crispy beancurd skin, seaweed, parma ham and lobster. I'm not too sure if this is in one of the permanent menu. But if you see this, order it!

Price: $25

We also ordered the Sweet Chili Crispy Chicken Thigh Marinated in Shrimp Sauce. However the hungry me must have forgotten to take an individual pic of it.

Price: $12
